Do you know your chakras?
The seven major chakras are our center points through which energy flows.
Blocked energy in our chakras can often lead to illness, both physical, mental and emotional, so it's important to keep your chakras balanced and unblocked so that energy can flow through them freely.
Root Chakra: Represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded.
Location: Base of spine in tail bone area.
Represents: Survival instincts and self-preservation, financial independence, money and food.
Stone: Red Jasper.
Sacral Chakra: Our connection and ability to accept others and new experiences.
Location: Lower abdomen, about two inches below the navel and two inches in.
Represents: Sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure and sexuality.
Stone: Carnelian.
Solar Plexus Chakra: Our ability to be confident and in control of our lives.
Location: Upper abdomen in the stomach area.
Represents: Self-worth, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Stone: Tiger's Eye.
Heart Chakra: Our ability to love.
Location: Center of chest just above the heart.
Represents: Love, joy and inner peace.
Stone: Green Adventurine.
Throat Chakra: Our ability to communicate.
Location: Throat.
Represents: Communication, self-expression of feelings and the truth.
Stone: Blue Lace Agate.
Third Eye Chakra: Our ability to focus on and see the big picture.
Location: Forehead, between the eyes.
Represents: Intuition, imagination, wisdom and the ability to think and make decisions.
Stone: Lapis Lazuli.
Crown Chakra: The highest chakra represents our spirituality and our higher self.
Location: The very top of the head.
Represents: Inner and outer beauty, our connection to spirituality and pure bliss. Our higher self.
